The puzzles start out with a set of dark tiles that are locked in place. It’s like a crossword puzzle of numbers! There are 100 hand-crafted puzzles ranging from easy to extremely challenging. But don't worry! If you get stuck, you can tap the lightbulb button to earn a hint. You can even create brand new puzzles to play yourself! Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Five at 4.7 against Sheeple's 3.0. Five also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (57 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sheeple sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Five sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Five holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Five has 57 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Sheeple's written reviews are positive against 87% of Five's.
Sheeple ships an update every 2 months, Five fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
