iRegatta is a tactical Regatta application as well as a crusing navigation application for the iPhone. The PRO version automatically includes the basic, NMEA0183 and AIS in-app-purchases that are available in the regular version, and offers additional in-app-purchases. The build-in GPS unit and the unique graphical possibilities of the iPhone, makes it ideal for such an application. If you have a iPhone anyway, this is a cheap way to introduce you to the benefits of a GPS device, to help you leverage your regatta sailing performance. A downside is of cause the fact that your iPhone/iPad is not waterproof! But there are products out there, where you can put your iDevice into, to make it waterproof and still be able to operate it. In this way you can either mount it near your other instruments on your keelboat or strap it to your arm if you are sailing a dinghy. Features: Main View. Here you can see your 4 most important readouts, fore instance Heading, Speed, VMG and Performance. There also is a lift indicator, showing you if you have been lifted by a wind shift, and graphs showing the development in your speed and VMG over a configurable amount of time and a permormance bar. Wind direction. Set your wind direction by storing your heading while sailing on upwind on starboard and port tack, or simply type it in. Start view. Here you have your count down (including sync), and you can mark your starting line and iRegatta will calculate the distance to the line and indicate the favorite line end, if wind direction is set. Statistics view. View your current position and trip odometer and max speed since last reset. You'll also see a polar diagram with your speed and VMG (wind speed dependent). Waypoints. Navigate to your favorite pre-stored waypoints, or create a new temporary waypoint by cross bearing using the iPhone internal camera, or by distance/bearing. Tracking. Record your track and view it on the map or export it for further analysis to your computer. Instead of internal GPS you can get instrument information over WiFi from NMEA0183 instruments. AIS data received over WiFi will be displayed in a Radar-like view. iRegatta also comes with a watch app, which will allow you to view data on your watch as well as operate the start line features. Besides that, the watch app will track your sailing as an activity and help you close your activity circles using HealthKit.. Read more detailed information on the apps web page.

"Car back!" The phrase every cyclist knows. The warning yelled down the pace line. The thing you wish you'd heard before that pickup blew past your shoulder. BikeTalk shouts it for you. Pair any Bluetooth cycling radar and BikeTalk speaks approaching vehicles through your headphones. No beeps to decode. No screen to glance at. Just the words riders have been using since forever: "Car back, 80 feet." "2 cars, 60 feet." "Wicked fast!" "Clear." ONE RADAR. EVERY PHONE IN RANGE. This is the part no other app does. • Riding solo? Your radar, your phone, your callouts. • Riding with a partner or in a group? Only one rider needs to own a radar. Every other phone in Bluetooth range hears the same callouts — no pairing between phones, no setup. The rider at the front of the peloton has the radar; everyone behind hears every car. • Add the intercom and you can talk to each other too. BikeTalk listens to the radar's open Bluetooth broadcast — read-only, no configuration, no control. Any phone within range hears it. GROUP INTERCOM When you want to talk to your group, tap the mic or use your headphone's play/pause button. Multiple riders can speak at once — it's a conversation, not a walkie-talkie. Peer-to-peer over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (the same technology as AirDrop). No cell signal. No account. No server. ~60 metres line-of-sight. Hands-free. Works with AirPods, Shokz, bone conduction, helmet speakers, or any Bluetooth audio. FOR RUNNERS TOO Flip on Running mode and BikeTalk becomes an eyes-free running companion: • Pace instead of speed — on screen, and spoken in your ear as often as you like • Grade-adjusted pace, so a hill at honest effort doesn't read as a lost split • Pair a Stryd or any Bluetooth footpod for pace and cadence • Effort targets: set your heart-rate, power, and pace bands and hear one word when it matters — "push," "ease," "hold." Heart rate is the safety ceiling: blow past it and you'll hear "ease," no matter what the pace says. • Recovery floors keep the coach quiet between intervals Group run? The intercom works on foot exactly like it does on the bike. DESIGNED FOR YOUR POCKET BikeTalk is built to work from your pocket. Drop your phone in your jersey, put on your headphones, and go. Everything important comes through the audio — radar callouts, group chat, heart rate, pace, weather. You don't need to look at your phone. If you do mount your phone on your bars, even better — the screen below is the bonus view. But it's not required. THE COCKPIT The main screen is everything you'd put on a bike computer, sized for glance-able reading at road speed: • Heart rate — pair any standard Bluetooth HR strap • Power and L/R balance — pair any standard Bluetooth power meter • Speed or pace, location, weather, route home • Pass count, duration, start/restart/end controls • Big numbers, dark UI, designed for sunlight and motion Phone on the bars or in your pocket. Either way, you're set. SUPPORTED RADARS Works with standard Bluetooth cycling radar tail lights, including RTL515, RVR315, RCT715, eRTL615, RearVue 820, and Bryton Gardia. CHOOSE YOUR VOICE • Boston Cop (default) — "Wicked fast!" • Boston Woman • Neutral default PRIVACY No account. No sign-up. No tracking. No analytics. No ads. No subscriptions. No in-app purchases. Audio between riders is peer-to-peer and never recorded. Free. Made by a cyclist in Boston who got tired of beeps. SAFETY NOTE This is a backup awareness layer. Always rely on your mirror, head-checks, and head unit display first. Privacy Policy: https://biketalk.app/privacy.html Terms of Use: https://biketalk.app/terms.html
