The call

The clearest difference is rating: IMAIOS e at 4.9 against ResolutionMD's 2.7. IMAIOS e also leads on update cadence (every 9 days vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (1.4K vs 3). ResolutionMD's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (67% vs 48%). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

IMAIOS e holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 2.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: IMAIOS e has 1.4K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 48% of IMAIOS e's written reviews are positive against 67% of ResolutionMD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

IMAIOS e ships an update every 9 days, ResolutionMD every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and June 7, 2026 respectively.
