Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: iAnalyzer at 4.2 against MGP Editor's 3.7. iAnalyzer also leads on update cadence (every 5 months vs every 20 months) and ratings volume (75 vs 6). MGP Editor's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and review sentiment (50% vs 41%). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. iAnalyzer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. MGP Editor asks for nothing beyond the download.
iAnalyzer holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iAnalyzer has 75 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 41% of iAnalyzer's written reviews are positive against 50% of MGP Editor's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
iAnalyzer ships an update every 5 months, MGP Editor every 20 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
