Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Days 2 Christmas at 100% against PeTalk's 43%. Days 2 Christmas also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 3). PeTalk's advantage is price (Free vs $0.99) and rating (4.2 vs 3.5). On ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

PeTalk is free to download; Days 2 Christmas costs $0.99 up front. PeTalk sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Days 2 Christmas asks for nothing beyond the download.
PeTalk holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PeTalk has 445 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Days 2 Christmas's written reviews are positive against 43% of PeTalk's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Days 2 Christmas ships an update every 16 months, PeTalk every 4 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
