*** 5 Star Certification Educational App Store *** About.com Best Educational App Readers' Choice Awards 2013 *** SmartAppsForKids.com 2012 Readers' Choice *** 2010 Best App Ever Awards TeachMe: Kindergarten is an educational iOS app which teaches six different age appropriate subjects to Kindergarten aged children: sight words, addition, subtraction, spelling and writing letters and numbers. Learning subjects align with common core standards to help your child get prepared for Kindergarten. Parents can review performance history for each subject to check how their child is doing. TeachMe: Kindergarten keeps children engaged with a rather unique reward system where children earn a coin for every three correct answers. Coins can then be used to purchase stickers to place in fun sticker scenes or to purchase items for the new virtual aquarium. Sticker scenes can be exported as wallpaper or emailed to family and friends. The simple and intuitive user interface is designed to be child friendly, which allows children to play without help from an adult. An animated teacher (Mimi Mouse) gives verbal instructions and feedback to the child which makes learning fun. FEATURES: • Virtual Aquarium reward (4 types of fish and 40+ items) • 6 different sticker reward scenes: farm, beach, underwater reef, pirate cove, city, playground • Over 150 different stickers for adding to scenes • Save learning information for up to 40 students • Select which subjects are displayed for each student • Turn on/off specific questions within a subject • Change the number of correct questions to earn a reward • Change the number of questions in a row to mark a question learned • Tracks performance for each subject item (last five) • Export sticker rewards scenes to Photos, for emailing or using as wallpaper LEARNING SUBJECTS: • Sight Words: Dolch (Pre-K), Dolch (K) • Addition: up to a total of 10 • Subtraction: from 10 down • Spelling: complete words by choosing the missing letter • Letter Writing: how to write letters a-z, A-Z • Number Writing: how to write numbers 0-9. Help your toddler understand time without a single number. They watch a calm bubble shrink (or a friendly water bar fill), see exactly how much is left, and you celebrate together when it's done. No alarms. No anxiety. Just a gentle "we're finished, what's next?" Kiddo is a visual countdown timer for toddlers and young kids who don't read clocks yet. Set it before bath, quiet time, screen time, or bedtime. Your child watches a big, friendly visual and intuitively feels how much time is left. When time's up, there's a joyful little celebration with confetti and a chime. Calm by design - Built around how young children actually understand time: through visuals and routine, not numbers. - No jarring alarms, no countdown pressure, no stress. Just a smooth, predictable wind-down. - Two timer styles: a Bubble that shrinks as time passes, or a Water Bar with a mascot riding a boat on top and submarines drifting below. Designed with ADHD, autism & sensory needs in mind - A gentle, predictable way to make abstract time concrete, especially for kids who experience time blindness or find transitions hard. - No loud beeping or sudden alarms that can overwhelm sensitive kids. Choose a soft chime, fanfare, applause, or complete silence. - A calm fit for morning and bedtime routines, focus and work time, screen-time limits, and moving smoothly between activities. - Made with parents, occupational therapists, and special-education and preschool classrooms in mind. Delightful for kids - Seven hand-drawn mascots (llama, sloth, cat, dog, star, dino, and train), each with its own personality and gentle idle animations. - Six warm color palettes: dusty teal, sage, mustard butter, terracotta, lavender, and peach. Simple for parents - Three quick-start presets (5, 10, 15 minutes). Rename them in Settings ("Bath time", "Quiet time", "Screen time"). - Custom durations and a Set Time mode: count down to 7:00 PM, not just "30 minutes from now". - A local notification fires even when the app is in the background, so you never miss the chime. - Press and hold anywhere to stop a running timer, parent-only, gated by a quick math puzzle. - A Recent timers row remembers your setups for one-tap re-launch. Private by design - No accounts. No sign-up. No ads. No analytics. No tracking. - Nothing ever leaves your device. The app collects zero data. - Works fully offline. Works everywhere - iPhone and iPad: one universal app, one purchase. - Light or dark mode. Kiddo always keeps its warm, friendly palette. Kiddo is a one-time purchase. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, nothing to upgrade. Just a calm, beautiful timer your child will actually enjoy watching.
