Both are free to download. HotNews.ro sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Stirile ProTV asks for nothing beyond the download.
Stirile ProTV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of HotNews.ro's written reviews are positive against 19% of Stirile ProTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
HotNews.ro ships an update every 4 months, Stirile ProTV every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
