White Risk is the Swiss platform for avalanche prevention and was awarded Best Swiss App in 2025. It is designed and developed at the WSL Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research SLF and is aimed at everyone who travels in winter mountain terrain outside secured ski slopes. In addition to the avalanche bulletin and current snow and measurement data, White Risk includes a trip planning tool specialized for ski touring, snowshoe routes and freeride. Draw your own routes, analyze the terrain using avalanche terrain maps and automatic cruxes, and plan alternatives. Through e learning, White Risk conveys avalanche knowledge and deepens it with interactive lessons and exercises. Tour planning: Draw routes along paths or ski routes or freely across the terrain and store all relevant information about your tour in one place. Automatic cruxes: White Risk analyzes your route, automatically marks potentially critical cruxes and complements them with relevant avalanche and terrain information. Use maps offline: Download map material with topographic maps as well as layers such as slope angle and avalanche terrain for planning and navigation on the go. Synchronization across all platforms: All planned tours are stored in the personal account and can be accessed and edited at any time via app and web. Avalanche bulletin: The avalanche bulletin provides information on the current avalanche situation. It offers a regional forecast of avalanche danger and is an important basis for trip planning. Snow maps, measurements and observations: Display of current and forecast new snow amounts as well as snow depths for Switzerland, complemented by measurements from stations and current observations such as avalanches and snow profiles. E learning: White Risk conveys avalanche knowledge using graphics, videos and animations and deepens it in interactive lessons with exercises and knowledge tests.

WattPose — The AI Cycling Coach In Your Pocket. WattPose uses your iPhone camera and on-device AI to analyze your riding position in real time — while you pedal. No sensors. Just ride. WHAT WATTPOSE MEASURES ▸ Back Angle The lean angle of your torso from vertical. Optimal: 40–60°. Too upright means more drag; too flat means back pain and power loss. ▸ Knee Extension The angle at the knee joint at the bottom of the pedal stroke. Optimal: 140–155°. Protects tendons and maximizes pedalling efficiency. ▸ Knee Stability Lateral deviation of the knee from the ideal line. A wandering knee is a hallmark of hip weakness or saddle mismatch. ▸ Hip Rocking Side-to-side oscillation of the hips. Excessive rocking wastes watts and stresses the lower back. ▸ Head Drop Your head should sit above your shoulders. Drooping signals fatigue and increases the risk of neck injury. ▸ Shoulder Symmetry Equal loading on both sides. Asymmetry reveals muscular imbalances that limit sustainable power output. VIRTUAL CdA & WATTS SAVED WattPose calculates your virtual CdA (aerodynamic drag coefficient × frontal area) directly from your body pose — no wind tunnel required. Calibrate once from your upright position, then watch in real time how many watts you save by getting more aero (calculated at 40 km/h). A lower CdA means less drag and more speed for the same effort. REAL-TIME AI ANALYSIS ML Kit runs entirely on-device (no cloud upload, no latency). The AI skeleton analyses every frame at up to 30 fps and delivers colour-coded live feedback: • Green = perfect form • Orange = minor issue detected • Red = form breakdown, correct now VOICE COACHING No need to glance at your screen. WattPose speaks directly to you: "Relax your shoulders", "Stabilize your knee", "Keep your hips still" — in your language (English & German). Mute instantly with one tap. BLUETOOTH SMART TRAINER Pair your indoor trainer via BLE (FTMS Indoor Bike Data and Cycling Power Profile supported). Live watts and cadence (RPM) feed directly into the efficiency score — giving you a fully connected coaching experience. POST-WORKOUT ANALYSIS After every ride, review: • Your Collapse Point — exactly when and why your form broke down • A personalised Action Plan with targeted exercises (e.g. Clamshells for knee stability; Plank for back and head posture) TRAINING HISTORY & PROGRESS Every session is stored locally. The Stats screen shows: • Total sessions & total training time • Average & best form score • Bar chart of your last 7 sessions • Trend analysis (improving, stable, or declining) BIKE FIT GUIDE An in-app reference that explains what each metric means, how it's measured, and why it matters — with interactive optimal-range bars for every data point. YOUR DATA, YOUR DEVICE All analysis happens locally on your iPhone. No camera data ever leaves your device. Built for road cyclists, triathletes, gravel riders, and anyone who wants to train smarter — WattPose is the personal aero coach that fits in your jersey pocket. Start riding. Start improving.
