One of my sons was struggling with math and I must say the use of iDevBooks math apps has really helped him.” Professor Tim Pelton reviewed the sister app Column Subtraction: “Because no wrong entries are allowed the app provides a passive form of positive reinforcement and your child will likely improve in both confidence and competence with respect to the procedure.” Teacher endorsement: “The Math apps by Esa Helttula allow students to practice and reinforce the specific computation strategies taught in class, with as much or as little scaffolding as necessary. They also provide individualized feedback to each student, with an immediacy that is not always possible through pencil and paper practice.” — Rita Zeni, Ecole Sandy Hill Elementary, Abbotsford, BC, Canada Other iDevBooks Math Apps: Other iDevBooks math apps include Column Subtraction, Long Multiplication, Long Division, Lattice Multiplication, Visual Multiplication Table, Fraction Math, Partial Differences Subtraction, Partial Quotients Division, Partial Sums Addition, Decimal Rounding, and more. TabTabTab Multiplication Table
Read full descriptionHide full description
TabTabTab is the app to learn multiplication facts by heart, for kids ages 6 and up. Your child answers out loud: if the answer comes instantly, the fact is truly memorized. Shortlisted for the Teach Primary Awards 2026. THE BEST WAY TO LEARN MULTIPLICATION FACTS, ACCORDING TO RESEARCH Memory research is clear: kids learn more by practicing a little and often, mixing questions up, and recalling answers from memory instead of re-reading them. TabTabTab combines all three: • Spaced repetition: each fact comes back right before it would be forgotten. • Mixed practice: times tables are interleaved, just like on a test at school. • Answering out loud: saying the answer forces real recall, not just recognition. Practice adapts to your child's actual mistakes: tricky facts come back more often, and facts they already know are reviewed at just the right time so they stick. 3 MINUTES A DAY A session takes about 3 minutes and around 20 questions. Perfect for homework, a quick review before a test, or a simple daily routine. THE FULL MULTIPLICATION TABLE All times tables from 0 to 12, one at a time or mixed. Every table your child masters earns its crown. PROGRESS YOU CAN SEE Not a generic score: see exactly which facts are memorized, which are still shaky, and how fast your child answers, in seconds. Share progress as an image with a teacher or grandparents. GREAT FOR KIDS WITH LEARNING DIFFERENCES Answering out loud, with no typing and no buttons to find, helps kids who struggle with writing or reading, including kids with dyslexia or dysgraphia. Every child goes at their own pace: no leaderboards, no comparisons. PRIVACY FIRST Speech is processed on the device: no audio ever leaves it. Works offline. No account, no ads, no subscription. ONE PURCHASE Free to try. Then a single purchase, yours forever. Each child gets their own profile and progress. Works on iPhone and iPad. AT A GLANCE • For: kids ages 6 and up, great for 2nd to 4th grade • What: multiplication facts 0–12, the full times tables • How: flash cards answered out loud, spaced repetition, mixed practice • How long: about 3 minutes a day • Great for: kids with dyslexia, dysgraphia and other learning differences • Without: ads, accounts, subscriptions • Recognition: shortlisted for the Teach Primary Awards 2026 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What is the best way to learn multiplication facts? Short, frequent practice, mixing the tables and saying the answer out loud. That's the method TabTabTab is built on. When do kids learn their times tables? In the US, usually in 3rd grade, around age 8, with practice continuing into 4th grade. TabTabTab can be used from age 6. How can my child memorize multiplication facts fast? A few minutes every day, focusing on the facts they get wrong. TabTabTab finds those facts and brings them back at the right moment. Is it good for kids with learning differences? Yes: kids answer out loud, without writing, and everyone goes at their own pace. 3 minutes a day. Real progress.
