EVCalculator is the perfect tool at a project management review to quickly evaluate performance on complex projects that use earned value management methodology. Enter the standard earned value data (BCWS, BCWP, ACWP, BAC and EAC), and EVCalculator instantly generates a color-coded table that includes all of the standard variances, indices and forecasts at completion, enabling you to quickly identify out-of-threshold items. These metrics are then processed by a sophisticated rules-based engine to provide an easily understood narrative that highlights and explains: 1) performance-to-date metrics; 2) disconnects between performance to date and forecasted performance; and 3) any data anomalies (i.e., ACWP > EAC) Generated metrics include: · % Scheduled · % Complete · % Spent · Cost Variance (CV) · Cost Variance % (CV %) · Cost Performance Index (CPI) · Schedule Variance (SV) · Schedule Variance % (SV %) · Schedule Performance Index (SPI) · Variance at Completion (VAC) · Variance at Completion % (VAC %) · To Complete Performance Index to Budget (TCPI-BAC) · To Complete Performance Index to Estimate to Completion (TCPI-EAC) · CPI Forecast at Completion · CPI*SPI Forecast at Completion · Weighted CPI + SPI Forecast at Completion · Performance Factor Forecast at Completion The program is compatible with the iPhone and iPad platforms and does not require an Internet connection once installed.

Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: TeamPage at 5.0 against EVCalculator's 4.4. TeamPage also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 9 months). EVCalculator's advantage is ratings volume (9 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
TeamPage holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EVCalculator has 9 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
EVCalculator ships an update every 9 months, TeamPage every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
