Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: ChatterPix Kids at every 2 months against Math Snacks Video's every 29 months. ChatterPix Kids also leads on ratings volume (664 vs 2) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). Math Snacks Video's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 72%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
ChatterPix Kids holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChatterPix Kids has 664 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Math Snacks Video's written reviews are positive against 72% of ChatterPix Kids's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Math Snacks Video ships an update every 29 months, ChatterPix Kids every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 1, 2026.
