Double Down is the blackjack trainer that shows its work. Most apps just tell you the "correct" move. Double Down teaches you the math behind it — the expected value (EV) of every decision — so you stop memorizing a chart and start genuinely understanding the game. No Double Down account required; optional iCloud sync and Game Center achievements use your Apple account. HOW IT WORKS • Deal a real hand and choose your play — hit, stand, double, split, or surrender. • Get instant feedback on whether it was the EV-optimal decision. • Tap to see exactly why. SEE THE MATH Every hand opens into a clear, honest breakdown: • Expected value of each action, side by side • Win / push / loss probabilities • Your bust risk if you hit • The dealer's full distribution of final totals TRAIN FOR YOUR EXACT TABLE Basic strategy changes with the rules — so configure them all: • 1–8 decks • Dealer hits or stands on soft 17 (H17 / S17) • 3:2 vs 6:5 blackjack payouts • Late, early, or no surrender • Double after split, resplits, hit split aces • Even the Free Bet variant TRACK YOUR PROGRESS • Accuracy, streaks, and decisions over time • Performance broken down by situation • Your recent mistakes, so you always know what to drill next • Open lessons and focused drills directly from Progress • Save and restore your learning progress in a local file LEARN THE CONCEPTS Ten focused lessons on the probability and expected value beneath basic strategy — hard totals, soft totals, pairs, doubling, surrender, and how each rule change moves the math. DESIGNED TO FOCUS A quiet, premium, ad-free experience with a beautiful Day and Night theme. Practice works locally; optional iCloud sync and Game Center achievements use Apple's services when enabled. Product-usage analytics help guide improvements. Your individual hands and practice history are not sent to TelemetryDeck. Double Down is an educational strategy trainer: no real money is staked and no wagers are placed.
