Both are free to download. iButton Sounds sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Drama Button 2 asks for nothing beyond the download.
iButton Sounds holds the better App Store score, 2.8 against 1.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iButton Sounds has 92 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Drama Button 2's written reviews are positive against 25% of iButton Sounds's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Drama Button 2 ships an update every 4 months, iButton Sounds every 22 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
