Both are free to download. Ameba（アメーバ） sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month and note（ノート） sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
note（ノート） holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 524 and 204 respectively.
