Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ads: Distance Tool at none against EasyMeasure's shown. EasyMeasure's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 58%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Distance Tool holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 6.1K and 2.2K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of EasyMeasure's written reviews are positive against 58% of Distance Tool's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
