Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: DayPlan at 5.0 against iReadItNow's 4.4. DayPlan also leads on monetization model (free vs freemium) and update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). iReadItNow's advantage is ratings volume (82 vs 1) and iOS requirement (6.0 vs 15.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
