Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RX at 90% against iRadTech Lite's 25%. RX also leads on update cadence (every 6 months vs every 21 months) and ratings volume (70 vs 4). iRadTech Lite's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

iRadTech Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RX has 70 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of iRadTech Lite's written reviews are positive against 90% of RX's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

iRadTech Lite ships an update every 21 months, RX every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
