This free app allows users of propositional logic to perform operations with the same ease as that offered by a mathematical calculator. It facilitates learners of logic by providing considerable feedback. To be precise, using this app, one can determine whether: (1) input is well-formed and, if not, why not, (2) sentences are tautologies, contradictions or contingent, (3) sets of sentences are consistent or inconsistent and (4) arguments are valid or invalid. It also produces truth tables which can be copied into other applications. As of this version, the calculator is restricted to semantic operations.

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: The Logic Calculator at none against Calculator +'s 12. The Logic Calculator also leads on ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 85%). Calculator +'s advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and ratings volume (10K vs 9). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Calculator + sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. The Logic Calculator asks for nothing beyond the download.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Calculator + against 4.6 for The Logic Calculator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Calculator + has 10K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 85% of Calculator +'s written reviews are positive against 100% of The Logic Calculator's.
Calculator + ships an update every 5 days, The Logic Calculator every 5 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
