letterTrace vs Learn to Write & Trace ABC

LetterTrace is a program to help children learn to write who have coordination problems. You can change size of the trace such that just a touch will cause the letter to be drawn, or you need to actually trace the letter to complete it. It automatically detects when a character is completed, at which time the character name is heard, and the next character is drawn. It does the alphabet or numbers from 1 to 99. It does it in both English and Spanish. You can display the letters in upper or lower case. There are two modes, letter trace mode and doodle mode. In doodle mode, you can just draw, albeit with a limited set of colors.

Toddlers and Preschool kids learn to write and trace standing and sleeping lines, shapes, ABC, Number, Spanish, Hindi Alphabets. Kids also learn the phonetics of English Alphabets while writing. Let kids learn how to write in a fun and interactive way all while they enjoy playing. The app helps enhance hand-eye coordination of toddlers and helps them to learn to draw lines, curves and some basic shapes so that they can be introduced to the concept of writing without overwhelming them. After extensive feedback from various teachers and institutions that specialize in the same domain, we have come up with this app. It starts with the very basics and goes to complex forms very gradually. Here, the kid begins by understanding how to draw standing, sleeping and slanting lines.
