As a private pilot I found myself often needing to convert blocks of time from my local zone to Zulu 24h for weather briefings and general flight planning. Rather than having to select individual times and convert them one by one, the table method allowed me to gain a familiarity with the new zone as if it were my own. No need to think about the conversion, 12h to 24h, etc, simply look at the chart and it was there. I have since found the app to be useful outside of aviation and it was become my preferred way to view "time" as a whole, be it traveling or simply wondering what time it was somewhere!
