ERS is free to download; Koikoi costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Koikoi holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 11 and 5 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of ERS's written reviews are positive against 20% of Koikoi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
