Haru Mado is a countdown app for quietly enjoying the approach of the coming year. The name joins haru (spring) and mado (window) — a window for waiting on the new spring. Against background animation in winter blues, with snow crystals drifting gently by, it shows the days left until the new year in beautiful style. On January 1st, and through the first three days of the year, a special celebration screen appears on its own, marking the turn of the year softly. Home Screen widgets are supported too, so you can check the time remaining without ever opening the app. Calmly, and with a little flutter of excitement, get ready to meet the new year — right there in your hand.
