ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Sound Touch Lite holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Sound Touch Lite has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Sound Touch Lite's written reviews are positive against 100% of Recognizing sounds's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Sound Touch Lite ships an update every 3 weeks, Recognizing sounds every 14 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
