Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 3Cat at 2.3 against Masmedia's 1.0. 3Cat also leads on review sentiment (35% vs 0%) and ratings volume (11 vs 1). Masmedia's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

3Cat ships an update every 6 weeks, Masmedia every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
