The clearest difference is rating: Horns and Sirens at 4.5 against Sirens!'s 3.8. Horns and Sirens also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (4.2K vs 61). Sirens!'s advantage is review sentiment (55% vs 43%) and iOS requirement (9.3 vs 12.0). On price, update cadence, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sirens! sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Horns and Sirens asks for nothing beyond the download.
Horns and Sirens holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Horns and Sirens has 4.2K ratings behind it against 61, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 55% of Sirens!'s written reviews are positive against 43% of Horns and Sirens's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Sirens! ships an update every 3 months, Horns and Sirens every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
