Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: RTÉ Listen at 4.8 against Shannonside FM's 4.0. RTÉ Listen also leads on ratings volume (1K vs 3) and review sentiment (67% vs 50%). Shannonside FM's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 16.6). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
