Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Hypertron at 4.4 against Rubo Gems's 4.1. Hypertron also leads on ratings volume (162 vs 31). Rubo Gems's advantage is update cadence (every 10 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (69% vs 53%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rubo Gems sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Hypertron sells 14 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Hypertron holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hypertron has 162 ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Rubo Gems's written reviews are positive against 53% of Hypertron's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Rubo Gems ships an update every 10 days, Hypertron monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
