Both are free to download. Stickman sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Animation Creator Express asks for nothing beyond the download.
Stickman holds the better App Store score, 3.9 against 3.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 305 and 253 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 45% of Animation Creator Express's written reviews are positive against 40% of Stickman's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Animation Creator Express ships an update every 3 months, Stickman every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
