Heroes Inc! is free to download; Apple Pick costs $0.99 up front. Heroes Inc! sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Apple Pick asks for nothing beyond the download.
Heroes Inc! holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Heroes Inc! has 44K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Apple Pick's written reviews are positive against 52% of Heroes Inc!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Apple Pick ships an update every 38 months, Heroes Inc! every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
