Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Find The Beat at Free against Salsa Rhythm's $2.99. Find The Beat also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 83%) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 15.1). Salsa Rhythm's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (3.4K vs 2). On update cadence, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Find The Beat is free to download; Salsa Rhythm costs $2.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Salsa Rhythm holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Salsa Rhythm has 3.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Salsa Rhythm's written reviews are positive against 100% of Find The Beat's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Salsa Rhythm ships an update every 4 months, Find The Beat every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
