Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: KYTX Radar at 4.5 against Storm Tracker NOW's 3.9. KYTX Radar also leads on ratings volume (97 vs 14). Storm Tracker NOW's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 70%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
KYTX Radar holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: KYTX Radar has 97 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 70% of KYTX Radar's written reviews are positive against 100% of Storm Tracker NOW's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
KYTX Radar ships an update every 4 months, Storm Tracker NOW every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
