Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: iHost at none against WebDAV Navigator's shown. iHost also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). WebDAV Navigator's advantage is review sentiment (76% vs 44%) and ratings volume (751 vs 52). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WebDAV Navigator sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and iHost sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.2 for WebDAV Navigator against 4.3 for iHost. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WebDAV Navigator has 751 ratings behind it against 52, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 76% of WebDAV Navigator's written reviews are positive against 44% of iHost's.
WebDAV Navigator ships an update every 3 months, iHost every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
