Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: MouseHero at 100% against Mouse Agent's 51%. MouseHero also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.1) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). Mouse Agent's advantage is ratings volume (18 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mouse Agent sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MouseHero sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
MouseHero holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mouse Agent has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 51% of Mouse Agent's written reviews are positive against 100% of MouseHero's.
Mouse Agent ships an update every 2 weeks, MouseHero every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
