The clearest difference is ads: 中國象棋 at none against 宽立象棋's shown. 中國象棋 also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months). 宽立象棋's advantage is ratings volume (96 vs 9). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 宽立象棋 sells 6 one-off in-app purchases and 中國象棋 sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.1 for 宽立象棋 against 4.0 for 中國象棋. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 宽立象棋 has 96 ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.
宽立象棋 ships an update every 7 months, 中國象棋 every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
