Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Lucky Cage at 4.7 against Roulette.'s 4.2. Lucky Cage also leads on update cadence (every 3 months vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). Roulette.'s advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 87%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. Roulette. sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.49 per month and Lucky Cage sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Lucky Cage holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 12 and 27 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Roulette.'s written reviews are positive against 87% of Lucky Cage's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Roulette. ships an update every 7 months, Lucky Cage every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 23, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
