Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: GAMEYE at 4.8 against Level Up's 4.3. GAMEYE also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (2.7K vs 14). Level Up's advantage is iOS requirement (8.1 vs 17.6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
GAMEYE holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GAMEYE has 2.7K ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Level Up's written reviews are positive against 76% of GAMEYE's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Level Up ships an update every 2 months, GAMEYE every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 29, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
