Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: DUBL Pro at none against ToonCamera's 10. DUBL Pro also leads on review sentiment (95% vs 86%). ToonCamera's advantage is ratings volume (8.6K vs 32) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ToonCamera sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. DUBL Pro asks for nothing beyond the download.
ToonCamera holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ToonCamera has 8.6K ratings behind it against 32, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of ToonCamera's written reviews are positive against 95% of DUBL Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
