Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: iRemoteDesktop Lite at 3.8 against I'm InTouch Go's 3.0. iRemoteDesktop Lite also leads on ratings volume (75 vs 2). I'm InTouch Go's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. iRemoteDesktop Lite sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. I'm InTouch Go asks for nothing beyond the download.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

iRemoteDesktop Lite holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: iRemoteDesktop Lite has 75 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 73% of iRemoteDesktop Lite's written reviews are positive against 89% of I'm InTouch Go's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

iRemoteDesktop Lite ships an update every 3 months, I'm InTouch Go every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
