Verdict
Bluefire Reader and Booklover both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 87% of Booklover's written reviews are positive against 55% of Bluefire Reader's. Booklover also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and price ($3.99 vs $4.99). Bluefire Reader's advantage is ratings volume (4.1K vs 57) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.6). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and chart position there is nothing between them.
