Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: tayyar.org at 5.0 against OTV's 3.7. OTV's advantage is ratings volume (88 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
tayyar.org holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OTV has 88 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 43% of tayyar.org's written reviews are positive against 45% of OTV's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
tayyar.org ships an update every 6 weeks, OTV every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
