Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Manupatra at every 2 weeks against SSSP Events's every 6 months. Manupatra also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported). SSSP Events's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 12.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Manupatra against 5.0 for SSSP Events. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SSSP Events has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Manupatra ships an update every 2 weeks, SSSP Events every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 20, 2026 respectively.
