Nora Shiftshare is built for you who keep society running 24/7: nurses, police, fire, ambulance, prison officers, industry, offshore, security guards, the armed forces and many more. You enter your shifts for the period ahead in seconds. Family and friends see the rest for themselves – when you're at work, when you're asleep after a night shift, and when you're finally off at the same time. No more friends or family ringing you in the middle of the day, after a long night shift. Your friends and family can plan things together and work around when you're actually available. If several of you in the group work shifts, Nora Shiftshare helps you find the times when everyone is free from work or rotation. ENTERING YOUR ROTA • Tap the days in the calendar: day, evening, night, on-call, off, or away on rotation. • On a fixed rotation? Pick a ready-made pattern – 10, 12 or 24-day cycles, 2-4 offshore – or build your own, and fill a whole month in a second. • Or import an .ics file from MinGAT, Outlook or Apple Calendar. The app recognises the shift types and lets you correct the rest before saving. • Two shifts in one day: press and hold a day and add the second shift. • Sleep hours: set when you sleep after the night shift. The people following you see that you shouldn't be disturbed, instead of guessing. • Schedule overview: shift distribution, weekends, night-shift trend and your longest unbroken time off. Visible to you alone. FOR THE PEOPLE FOLLOWING YOU • Everyone you follow in one view: who's at work now, who's off, who's asleep, who's on call. • Find time: search for days when everyone is free at the same time. Sleep after a night shift counts as busy, so the answer holds up in real life. • Following the schedule of someone who invited you is free. Forever. GENUINELY ANONYMOUS We never ask for your email, phone number, surname, address or employer. There is no field to store them in. • No sign-in, no password: your account is a key created on your phone that never leaves it. • The rota is end-to-end encrypted. We cannot read a single shift. • The names you give each other stay on your own phones. • No ads, no tracking, no analytics, no third parties. • YOU ARE NOT THE PRODUCT – the app is the product. • Old shifts are deleted automatically every night. Three months is the ceiling – you can choose shorter. • Download everything we hold about you, or delete your account and all its content permanently – both from inside the app. Why so strict? A rota tied to a name tells a stranger when you're on nights and when your home stands empty. For the people who staff the emergency services, that is a risk to society, not just to them. So the app is built so that we don't know who you are – and cannot find out. The trade-off: if you lose both your phone and your recovery code, the data is gone for good. That is the price of nobody else being able to read it either.
