Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: 美食杰 at 4.8 against 99刻烘焙's 4.0. 美食杰 also leads on ratings volume (3.4K vs 4). 99刻烘焙's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
美食杰 holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 美食杰 has 3.4K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 86% of 美食杰's written reviews are positive against 100% of 99刻烘焙's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
