Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Keep Contacts at 5.0 against Contacts Backup+Transfer Easy's 4.2. Keep Contacts also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Contacts Backup+Transfer Easy's advantage is review sentiment (83% vs 50%) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Keep Contacts holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Contacts Backup+Transfer Easy has 13 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Keep Contacts's written reviews are positive against 83% of Contacts Backup+Transfer Easy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Keep Contacts ships an update every 6 weeks, Contacts Backup+Transfer Easy every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
