Verdict
The clearest difference is price: Keep Contacts at Free against Voice Reader's $0.99. Keep Contacts also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). Voice Reader's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 50%) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Keep Contacts is free to download; Voice Reader costs $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Keep Contacts holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Voice Reader has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Keep Contacts's written reviews are positive against 80% of Voice Reader's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Keep Contacts ships an update every 6 weeks, Voice Reader every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
