Verdict
The clearest difference is ratings volume: JTV Go at 31K against Tamsy.com's 89. JTV Go also leads on monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). Tamsy.com's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 89%) and iOS requirement (12.1 vs 14.0). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for JTV Go against 4.8 for Tamsy.com. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: JTV Go has 31K ratings behind it against 89, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of JTV Go's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tamsy.com's.
JTV Go ships an update every 4 weeks, Tamsy.com every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
