The official iPhone version of the card game Wizard. Meet the card game that's challenging, habit-forming and loads of fun! It's Wizard: a unique game with a 60 card deck! The rules are simple and easy to learn... mastering the strategy is the real challenge. One card is dealt to each player on the first round, two cards on the second, and so on. Players bid the number of tricks they think they will win. Make the exact number of tricks bid and you win points; too many or too few and you lose points. The Wizard and Jester cards add a "wild card" element to the strategy. Play against the sophisticated built-in AI players, or choose a network game of up to 4 friends playing over the internet. CardProphet
Read full descriptionHide full description
Card Prophet is a trick-taking card game about one deceptively hard question: how many tricks will you win this round? Call it exactly right and you score. Miss by even one - over or under - and it costs you. The deck grows every round, so your read on the table has to grow with it. HOW IT PLAYS Each round you're dealt a hand and must predict how many tricks you'll take. Then everyone plays it out, one card at a time, following suit, chasing (or dodging) tricks to land on their number. Prophets beat everything. Jesters lose to everything. Trump changes each round. The player who reads the hand best - not the one with the best cards - comes out ahead. PLAY YOUR WAY • Apprentice mode: a gentler ruleset that's perfect for kids and new players • Classic mode: the full bid-your-tricks challenge • House rules: switch on rage bidding, let the prophet card pick trump, or play with double penalties for a sharper game PLAY OFFLINE, ANYTIME No account, no connection, no waiting. Sit down against smart bots that actually play the odds - great for a quick round on a plane, a train, or the couch. Landscape table, tactile card handling, and a calm, readable board. Predict well. Fulfill the prophecy. Terms of Use (EULA): https://legal.cardprophet.co/terms Privacy Policy: https://legal.cardprophet.co/privacy

Verdict
The clearest difference is price: CardProphet at Free against Wizard's $5.99. CardProphet also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 4 months). Wizard's advantage is chart position (#25 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
