Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Meals & Tips at 100% against Edifito's 17%. Edifito's advantage is price (Free vs $1.99) and rating (2.0 vs 1.0). On ratings volume, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Edifito is free to download; Meals & Tips costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Edifito holds the better App Store score, 2.0 against 1.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 1 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Meals & Tips's written reviews are positive against 17% of Edifito's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Meals & Tips ships an update every 7 months, Edifito every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on August 16, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
