Both are free to download. Drum Sets sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Drummer Lite asks for nothing beyond the download.
Drummer Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Drum Sets has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 36% of Drummer Lite's written reviews are positive against 50% of Drum Sets's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Drummer Lite ships an update every 14 months, Drum Sets every 6 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
