Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is price: Piascore at Free against NumScore's $19.99. Piascore also leads on ratings volume (1.9K vs 9) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). NumScore's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 12) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). On review sentiment, update cadence, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Piascore holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Piascore has 1.9K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Piascore's written reviews are positive against 89% of NumScore's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Piascore ships an update weekly, NumScore every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 25, 2026.
